Our under 21 hurlers were defeated by Moyne-Templetouhy/Thurles Gaels in the mid semi final

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE'S FITTEST CLUB

Gortahoola Racquetball were last Saturday night crowned Upperchurch Drombane's Fittest club in a close battle over the specially designed obstacle course. They successfully held off the challenge of the other 7 competing clubs. Congratulations to Donal, Kathleen, Ger & Dean who made up the winning team. A large crowd was present to witness the action and many thanks are due to the competing athletes, organisers and indeed all who bought a ticket and supported the evening.

CELEBRATION NIGHT IN DROMBANE ON DECEMBER 8TH

A celebration will be held in Ned's pub in Drombane on Saturday 8th December to honour the 20th anniversary of our county intermediate hurling final victory. 1998 saw Upperchurch Drombane defeat Ballybacon-Grange to return to the senior ranks where we have remained since. On the night medals will also be presented to this years victorious county U21 football champions. Further details will be announced shortly.

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE ANNUAL XMAS CHARITY FUNDRAISER

The Upperchurch Drombane GAA annual Xmas charity fundraiser takes place this year on Sunday Dec 30th with the inaugural staging of the Upperchurch Drombane Point-to-Point - one church steeple to the other as per the original point to point race except this time without the equine assistance - It will be an 8km walk or road race from Upperchurch church to Drombane church... Get those runners dusted down
