Our under 21 hurlers are in action tomorrow(Saturday) in the mid semi final. They face Moyne-Templetouhy/Thurles Gaels at 2pm in The Ragg. Best of luck to the team.

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE’S FITTEST CLUB

Tomorrow(Sat 17th) see’s the sporting clubs of the parish descend on Thurles Greyhound Stadium to decide Upperchurch Drombane’s Fittest Club. Gerry O’Dwyer has designed a special course including bicycles, logs, tyres, bags of coal and more to test the 8 teams to the limit. A full schedule of greyhound racing will also take place on the evening along with music afterwards and all who buy a ticket will also be entered into a buster draw for €500. Anyone who needs to buy last minute tickets(priced at €15) should do so before the night as cash given on the door goes directly to the greyhound stadium and does not benefit the GAA club. Tickets can be bought from players, athletes or committee members. Get your tickets now for a great evenings entertainment. UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE ANNUAL XMAS CHARITY FUNDRAISER

The Upperchurch Drombane GAA annual Xmas charity fundraiser takes place this year on Sunday Dec 30th with the inaugural staging of the Upperchurch Drombane Point-to-Point – one church steeple to the other as per the original point to point race except this time without the equine assistance – It will be an 8km walk or road race from Upperchurch church to Drombane church… Get those runners dusted down
