The first competitive games of the year are about to start and our Premier Intermediate side have been placed in Division 1 Group 3 as they look to defend their title from last year. Also in the group are Loughmore/Castleiney, Carrick Swans, Cashel King Cormacs, Mullinahone & Holycross/Ballycahill. Our first game is fixed for Sunday 16th at 12pm in Carrick-On-Suir against Carrick Swans.
MID JUNIOR HURLING LEAGUE
The draws for the mid junior hurling leagues have also been made and we plan to enter two teams, in division 1 and division 3. The first round of games are due to be held on the weekend of March 23rd and in division 1 we travel to Templemore to face JK Brackens, while in division 3 we are also on the road away to Boherlahan Dualla.

Congratulations to Matthew Ryan who was a winner in the March draw held last Wednesday night in Lár na Pairce.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership for adults & juveniles for 2025 can be paid either online on www.upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie or via club registrar Paul Shanahan. Adult rates are unchanged on 2024 levels while there have been some small increases in juvenile rates. It is especially important for players to have membership paid before games start for insurance purposes.
CROKE CUP
Well done to Thurles CBS who won their All Ireland semi final in the Croke Cup last weekend and especially to Toby Corbett, Sean Shanahan, Padraig Griffin, Sean Griffin and Michael Quinlan from this parish. They now face Athenry in the All Ireland final in Croke Park on St Patricks Day.
FITZGERALD CUP
Congratulations to Thurles CBS who defeated Nenagh CBS to win the Under 17 Fitzgerald Cup during the week. Congrats to Sean Griffin, Paudie Ryan(P), Paddy Ryan(F) and Liam Ryan(L) who are involved in this team.
