SENIOR FOOTBALL

The first round of the senior football championship takes place this Saturday evening when we face Cahir in Golden at 7pm. Best of luck to teams & management. Tickets can be bought in advance at https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/tipperary-gaa/ or via contactless payment on the gate.

SENIOR HURLING

We opened up our county championship campaign last weekend with a 6 point defeat to mid rivals Holycross Ballycahill. Although Holycross started stronger a goal 8 minutes in from Luke Shanahan put us into an early lead. Holycross slowly clawed their way back into it and they led by 2 points at half time. The first portion of the 2nd half was evenly matched, however a Holycross goal 18 minutes in saw them into a 6 points advantage. From this point they maintained it as Upperchurch sought goals to get back into the game. Final score was 2-16 to 1-13. Our next match is against Templederry in Semple Stadium on Sunday 13th at 3:30pm. It will be preceded by the clash of Killenaule & Lorrha Dorrha. Ticket & streaming details will be announced early next week.

INTERMEDIATE HURLING

The Intermediate hurlers were beaten by Borrisokane 3-27 to 0-16 in the first game of the championship last Saturday evening. Next up is a trip to Cloneen on Friday 11th where we will face Ballybacon Grange at 7pm.

UNDER 19 HURLING

Our under 19 hurlers were defeated by Loughmore-Castleiney in the mid championship in Drombane last Wednesday night. We have one group game remaining against Na Sairsealaigh Óg

JUNIOR C HURLING

The junior C's play their first game of the mid championship next Tuesday when they face Gortnahoe-Glengoole in Gortnahoe at 7:30pm. Best of luck to all involved.
