SENIOR HURLING

We suffered a narrow 2 point defeat to Thurles Sarsfields in the mid final last Sunday. In a highly competitive game, in wet conditions, we got off to a great start scoring the first 4 points of the match. Sarsfields finally found their feet in the game and by half time we led by 2 points. Sarsfields raised the first 3 flags of the second half but from there on the teams traded points and entering injury time the sides were level. It was Sarsfields who got the remaining 2 scores to win 0-18 to 0-16. Attention now turns to the county championship. We begin this Sunday against Holycross-Ballycahill in Littleton at 1pm. INTERMEDIATE HURLING

Good luck also to the intermediate hurlers who begin their county campaign with a clash against Borrisokane tomorrow(Saturday 29th) at 5:00pm in Moneygall. The Premier Intermediate clash of Lorrha & Gortnahoe will follow our game at 6:45pm. Be aware that parking is limited in Moneygall GAA grounds so you may need to park further away. Ticket & streaming details are similar to above for the senior match.

UNDER 19 HURLING

Best of luck to the u19 hurlers who face Loughmore-Castleiney in the mid championship next Wednesday 2nd. Throw in is at 7:30pm in Drombane.

SENIOR FOOTBALL

The first round of the senior football championship takes place on the August bank holiday weekend. We are due to face Cahir in Golden on Saturday 5th at 7pm.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP STREAMING

The Tipperary county club championships are being streamed for the next 3 years by www.clubber.ie This weekend there are 18 games being streamed ranging from Intermediate to Senior level including Upperchurch Drombane's games against Holycross & Borrisokane. The new season of the Tipperary GAA Draw is approaching with the first draw taking place in August and the usual array of great prizes up for grabs.
