CLUB AGM 2016
The club will hold it's Annual General Meeting in the clubhouse this Sunday Dec 4th at 6pm. All members are encouraged to attend if possible
JUNIOR HURLING
Congratulations to our junior hurlers who defeated Limerick's Murroe-Boher in the munster semi final last Sunday in Killeedy GAA pitch. In a tough encounter Upperchurch raced into an early lead and appeared to be in control before a Murroe goal just before half time reduced our lead to just 1 point. A further goal for Murroe early in the second half put them ahead but Upperchurch responded quickly with a TJ Butler goal putting us back in front, a lead they never relinquished. Upperchurch held on to win on a scoreline of 1-12 to 2-8. Afterwards Michael Ryan was named man of the match by the organisers. They now qualify for the Munster final against the Cork champions Whitechurch to be played in January. Thanks to all who made the trip down to south-west Limerick and also Killeedy GAA for their hospitality.

2017 CLUB OUTING
Bookings (& €50 deposit) for the 2017 club outing to Kippure Estate & Lodge, Wicklow on 4th/5th Feb will be taken after Sunday's AGM in the clubhouse. Names to be given to Mary Ryan Patsy, Kaye Ryan or LJ Ryan.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CHARITY RUN AND WALK
Now is the time for the parishes athletes to start training for our annual charity run and walk. This years run will take place on Sunday Jan 8th. More details will follow in due course.
