Our senior footballers quest for county glory came to an end last weekend when we fell at the final hurdle against Clonmel Commercials. In atrocious weather conditions we took time to settle and Clonmel took full advantage opening up a 10 point advantage at half time. The team showed real fight after the restart however and took the match to Commercials, creating a number of chances. A goal from Conor Fahey with 6 minutes left drew possibly the largest cheer of the day from the Semple Stadium crowd. Clonmel used all their experience though to see out the match 1-10 to 1-2. While this is a disappointing finish it must be remembered this is a historic season for football in the parish to get to the final two, especially considering the quarter finals was the furthest we had previously reached. The season is not fully over yet though as the mid championship is still up for grabs. We face Loughmore-Castleiney in the semi final next Wednesday 26th at 8pm in Templetouhy. Tickets for this game can be bought at https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/mid-tipp-gaa/

Best of luck to our junior A hurlers as they face Grangmockler-Ballyneale in the county final tomorrow(Saturday) at 2:30pm in Golden. After some fine performances throughout the campaign hopefully they can cap it off with a county title. Tickets for this game can be bought at https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/tipperary-gaa/ and there will also be tap & go on the gate. The game will also be streamed by Tipp GAA at https://page.inplayer.com/TipperaryGAA/ for €10.

The junior footballers bowed out at the county quarter final stage last weekend with Cappawhite proving too strong on the day. Final score was 1-11 to 0-5.

After a long hiatus from their mid final victory our under 19 hurlers played their county semi final on Saturday Oct 29th at 2pm in Dundrum. Cappawhite Gaels will be our opponents as we look to win a first county title at minor/under 19 level.
