ALL IRELAND KILMACUD 7'S
Congratulations to our hurlers who reached the final of the Kilmacud Crokes All Ireland 7's last weekend. They emerged from a tough group Oranmore-Maree of Galway, Feakly of Clare & Moyne-Templetouhy before defeating the defending champions Borris-Ileigh in the quarter finals. In the semi's they accounted for Adare of Limerick to set up a final berth against the pre-tournament favourites Kilmacud. The hosts raced into a large early lead but Upperchurch staged a storming comeback which came up just short as Kilmacud won by 3 points. While it was disappointing not to get the trophy it was a fine performance by all our hurlers.
