COUNTY HURLING LEAGUE

The club season gets underway in earnest in just a few weeks time. The draws for the opening round of the county leagues have been announced and our seniors play in division 1 group 2 along with Toomevara, Drom & Inch, Kiladangan, Loughmore/Castleiney and Mullinahone. Our first game will be away to Toomevara with the top 2 teams in the group after all 5 rounds of games qualifying for the semi finals. We also are entering a team into Division 5 where our first opponents will be Knockavilla Kickhams. Also in the group are Ballylooby/Castlegrace, Cappawhite, Cahir & Lattin/Cullen. These games will be played on the weekend of March 19th/20th.

RYAN CUP

Congratulations to Dean Carew & Pakie Bourke who were on the MTU Kerry team which won the Ryan Cup last weekend. Best of luck to Dean & the Tipperary footballers as they take on Sligo tomorrow(Saturday) in the National Football League.

SPRING INTO FITNESS

Well done to all who are taking part in Spring Into Fitness over the past 4 weeks. It has been a great success with large numbers taking part in the multitude of activities arranged. Thanks to all involved behind the scenes in running the event. One final push needed now for the final week of activities.
