SENIOR HURLING
County championship action begins this weekend as we take on Eire Og Annacarty tomorrow(Saturday) at 6:30pm in Dundrum. With Thurles Sarsfields & Drom also in the group we'll be looking for a strong start. Tickets were distributed through the club earlier in the week and there will be no tickets to buy on the gate. The game will be live streamed on our facebook page. Best of luck to the team.
UNDER 19 HURLING
The under 19 hurlers take on Holycross-Ballycahill in the mid final next Wednesday(Sept 1st) in Holycross at 6:30pm This game will be livestreamed on our facebook page. Best of luck to the team and hopefully they can claim another title for the parish.
JUNIOR HURLING
Last weekends game v Boherlahan Dualla was postponed and will now take place this Sunday at 12pm in Boherlahan. Any tickets purchased for the original game will be valid and there are still some tickets available to purchase at: https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/mid-tipp-gaa Adult €6, Under 16's FREE and don't require a ticket. No money will accepted on the gate. 2020 season passes are expired and will not be accepted. The game will also be streamed live on our facebook page.
COUNTY BOARD CHAMPIONSHIP LIVE STREAM
Tipperary county board plan to stream up to 40 matches live in this years championship. This weekend (Aug 27th-29th) the Co. Board will stream 5 games. Prices for streaming as follows. SENIOR FOOTBALL
The first round of the senior football championship is on Saturday September 4th against Moyle Rovers in Cashel at 6pm. Cahir & Aherlow are the other 2 teams in our group with the top two advancing to the county knockout stages and the bottom two entering the Tom Cusack cup(and relegation playoffs if they lose the first round of that)
GO GASTA
Well done to the team of Willie Shanahan, Kelley Harrington, Eamon Fogarty, Mary Burke, Pat Ryan and Caroline Shanahan who competed in TG4's Go Gasta last Sunday against a team from Holycross. A great show of fitness and skill saw them win and put themselves in the frame for making the series finale.
