JUNIOR HURLING

Congratulations to our juniors who won our first silverware of the year taking the mid junior league crown in a tight affair with Boherlahan Dualla last Saturday. It was Boherlahan who led most of the first half taking a 3 point lead into the break. A tense 2nd half saw us claw our way back and take the lead with 5 minutes remaining, eventually seeing out a 2 point victory 1-9 to 0-20. The mid championship group stages begin tonight(Friday) when we face Thurles Sarsfields at 7:30pm in Drombane. SENIOR HURLING

The round 1 draws in the county senior & intermediate championships will take place tonight on TippFM from 6:30pm

The provisional mid championship draw was made during the week and we are pitted in the preliminary quarter final v Thurles Sarsfields B. The winners of that will face the winners of Gortnahoe/Glengoole and Clonakenny. Dates are not fixed yet but it's possible the first round may be played next week should the Tipperary senior hurlers not defeat Waterford tomorrow.

Our mid quarter final v Thurles Sarsfields B has been provisionally set for Wednesday 11th August.
