MOHER HILL 7K FOR CAMEO CARE

Join our Annual Christmas Charity fundraiser taking place on Christmas day to Sunday January 3rd. All funds raised are in aid of Cameo Care, Dementia Support Group, Thurles. With Covid restrictions we’ve had to change how we normally hold the event for this year.

It’s simple – walk or run the 7k course at any stage between Xmas day and Sunday Jan 3rd. Donate €10 via our Go Fund Me page (http://gofundme.com/moher-hill-7k-for-cameo-care) or at Ryans shop or Drombane Co-Op. Kids are free. If you’re running it, text your name and time to 086-8281939 by midnight Jan 3rd. Feel free to have multiple go’s to get your best time!

For those not familiar with the course, don’t worry as we have posted it on Facebook, Twitter & the GoFundMe page and there will be ample signage along the route too!

UNDER 20 HURLING

Well done to Keith Ryan and the Tipperary under 20 hurlers for their dramatic munster semi final win in extra time over Waterford during the week. This sets up a munster final against Cork at 7:30pm next Wednesday. The game will be live on TG4

MINOR HURLING

Congratulations to Luke Shanahan and Pat Ryan who were on the Tipperary minor hurling team that overcame Waterford in the munster semi final last Saturday. Luke also got the honour of being voted the Electric Ireland Minor hurler of the week in a public vote on twitter. The Munster final v Limerick will be played this Sunday at 1pm. MINOR FOOTBALL

Commiserations to Sean Ryan, Oisin Treacy, James Griffin, Viv Downey and Adrian Cooke who were involved with the Tipp minor footballers who exited the championships at the hands of Clare during the week.

A freak rain shower caused the game to be halted temporarily but there was plenty of tough, intense hurling done. Footage is courtesy of Eugene Shortt. We will be adding another extra special game for the club at the end of next week in time for Christmas.
