Hard luck to our U21 hurlers who were beaten narrowly by Borris-Ileigh today in the county semi final in Borrisoleigh.

It was nip and tuck all the way through with no more than 2 points between the sides at any time. Upperchurch led by 0-8 to 0-6 at half time and it was equally well matched in the second half with the teams level entering injury time. Borris-Ileigh scored 2 late points to emerge victorious and qualify to meet Killenaule in the final.

This brings an end to the clubs 2015 campaign which has been very successful with 5 divisional or county titles won.
