SENIOR HURLING
The semi final of the Cahill Cup against Drom & Inch was played last Tuesday in Drombane with Drom prevailing on a scoreline of 1-14 to 1-9

SENIOR FOOTBALL
Our final group game in the county group against Clonmel Commercials is fixed for Sat June 17th at 6:30pm in Cashel. It is still all to play for in the group with CLonmel on 4 points, Upperchurch & Ballyporeen on 2 and Cahir yet to get off the mark.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL
The first round of the mid championship against Boherlahan-Dualla will be played on June 18th at 8pm in Boherlahan.

JUVENILE FOOTBALL
Best of luck to the U14 footballers who face Moyle Rovers in the county final tomorrow in Ballylooby.

CUL CAMP
Cul Camp will take place from July 10th to 14th in Drombane from 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 pm. Cost is 60 euros for the first child, 50 for the second and 40 for the third and fourth. The camp is open to children between the ages of 6 and 13. Each child receives a a free Kellogg’s GAA T shirt, training top and backpack.

PUBLIC MEETING ON ACTIVE & SOCIAL RETIREMENT
A public meeting is being held at 8pm in Wednesday June 28th in Upperchurch Community Centre entitled "Building Caring & Vibrant Communities". This meeting is being organised by a newly formed local committee, established with the aim of enhancing the lives of the elderly in our parish, through the development of a programme of social events and activities that assist in ensuring retired people enjoy a full and active life in their own community. The meeting will serve as a launch event for the local active retirement group and is an opportunity to hear both the views of those who have helped shape public policy in this area and the thoughts of those with extensive practical experience at local level. Keynote Speaker is Prof. Eamon O’Shea, National University of Ireland Galway. Followed by panel discussion with: Prof Eamon O’Shea, NUIG, Mary Hennessy, Annacarty Donohill Active Retirement Association, Tom Cullen, Thurles Men’s Shed Group, Dr Michael Ryan, LIT Thurles

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE DEFIBRILLATOR FUNDRAISER
Upperchurch Drombane Community Defibrillator group will hold a fundraising cake sale in Drombane hall on Saturday next 10th June after 7pm mass and Sunday 11th June after 11am mass in Upperchurch Hall to help fundraise for a new Defibrillator in Drombane Village and modification of Defibrillator in Upperchurch Hall. Any cakes and buns for the events will be greatly appreciated and can be left into either halls before mass. Pass on the word
