Our unbeaten start to the county league continued against Lorrha Dorrha last Friday with a 2-17 to 0-14 victory. After a bright start we led by 3 points at the midway point of the first half, extending this to 4 before Lorrha had a strong spell to reduce the deficit to 1 for the half time break (9 to 8). The second half was a tight affair with only a couple of scores between the sides until 2 goals in quick succession from Pat Ryan and Padraig Greene extended the lead to 8 points. A final point from a Gavin Ryan 65' gave us a 9 point win. The final group game against Roscrea is scheduled for next Sunday 12th in Drombane at 12pm.

Last Sunday we suffered a 3-19 to 1-16 defeat to Ballingarry in division 3 of the league. The next game against Shannon Rovers is pencilled in for next Saturday 11th at 6pm in Ballinderry. The final group game will be against Skeheenarinky.
